What People Say

Most Liked

The food at Pirate's Point is consistently praised, particularly the burgers and shrimp dishes that locals can't stop raving about. Many highlight the Patty Melt and Slaw Dog as must-try items. The restaurant’s lively karaoke nights add a fun twist to any meal, fostering a sense of community among patrons. Happy hour deals on drinks and food make it an attractive spot for those looking to unwind after a long day. The friendly service is a standout, with staff who go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels welcome. People often mention the cozy ambiance that makes it easy to settle in for a night of good food and laughter.

Most Disliked

One concern mentioned by patrons is the occasional long wait during peak dinner hours, particularly on Fridays. Some diners feel the noise level can rise significantly during busy karaoke nights, making it hard to hold conversations. A few guests have reported that certain items run out quickly on peak days, so it’s wise to arrive early if you have your heart set on a specific dish. Additionally, while the menu is diverse, there are limited options for those seeking healthier alternatives. Lastly, some find the parking situation a bit tight during high-traffic times, so planning ahead is key.

My first time here and I must say I made the best decision to come here! The food is delicious and my waitress was very sweet and attentive. Best Burger I have had in a long time and the soup was to die for. I will be coming back again!!!

This is the best restaurant ever! Amazing food and somehow even better service! I came here with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday and we had a blast! I had the nachos, Italian sausage and potato soup, and Gouda grits and it was all phenomenal. I got a drink too which was also delicious. We did karaoke with one of the (I think) owners and it was so fun! Man knows how to make a queue and how to work a crowd. Everyone was so kind it bolstered my faith in humanity. I cannot recommend this place more!!!!

Amazing amazing place! You must go! The food was absolutely incredible and the service even more so. My friends and I went on a Saturday night and ended up staying for hours having some of the best homemade food we've ever had, great drinks, and had the best time singing karaoke with the owner. You will enjoy yourself and enjoy the food! Go here!

My family can’t enough of Pirate’s Point. My personal favorite is the slaw dog! Amazing. My wife and son swear by their burgers (I love them too) and my daughter can live on their chicken tenders. We all love the cheese curds, best around. The service is great and she is the most thoughtful server we have met in a while.

We decided to take a chance on what looked like a “hole in the wall,” and it turned out to be an excellent choice! The shrimp was plump and packed with flavor, the wings were a perfect balance of sweet and spicy with a crispy exterior and tender meat, and the burger was delicious as well. Our server was friendly and attentive.

This is one of the great neighborhood bar/ restaurants. A truly lost art. Rick and his family have created a brilliantly authentic experience for the area. The shrimp and grits are just spectacular. The atmosphere outside is inviting, warm and brilliantly southern coastal. And they make unbelievable homemade onion rings and grits. Wow!

We were in town passing through and stumbled upon this spot! It lived up to the great reviews. The food was amazing. We had gyros, fries, and Gouda grits. The grits were the best we have ever had! And the gyro portions were HUGE! The service was great and it was clear the owner takes pride in his restaurant (as he should!). Already looking forward to coming back if we’re ever back in the area!
